Executive Office of Human & Health Services (EOHHS)
The largest secretariat in state government and is comprised of 12 agencies, in addition to 2 soldiers’ homes and the MassHealth program.  Efforts are focused on the health, resilience, and independence of the one in four residents of the Commonwealth they serve. Their public health programs touch every community in the Commonwealth.

  • Department of Public Health (DPH)
    Promotes the health and well-being of all residents by ensuring access to high-quality public health and healthcare services, and by focusing on prevention, wellness, and health equity in all people. DPH keeps people healthy and communities strong.
  • Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Provides supports for individuals with intellectual the health and well-being of all residents by ensuring access to high-quality public health and healthcare services, and by focusing on prevention, wellness, and health equity in all people. DPH keeps people healthy and communities strong.
  • Department of Mental Health (DMH) The Department of Mental Health (DMH) provides additional services for children, youth and adults with the most serious mental health needs. Family TIES of Massachusetts provides information and referral services, emotional support, and training to parents of children and youth with special needs. Driven and staffed by parents of children with special needs, we offer a unique type of emotional and practical support to families with similar life experiences.

Extended hours are offered on the first and third Wednesday of the month via zoom from 5pm until 7:30pm, by appointment only.
