Shared Living Home Provider

We are excited to search for a caring member of the community who is willing to share their home and provide support to a young man in his 20’s. This includes a generous monthly tax exempt stipend. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, a stable household and great communication.

The young man we are working with has many independent living skills but needs support with navigating the typical issues related to young adulthood. These include building healthy relation-ships, navigating the community, promoting self-advocacy, & developing positive communication.

Case management & clinical support is provided to the Home Provider by a team of dedicated staff.

Shared Living Home Providers have compassion for people with disabilities, can provide a clean and safe home, have a sense of humor, and can work independently while still communicating ef-fectively with all the team members. We are looking for providers who share the philosophy that the people we support should be empowered to experience independence to their fullest capacity.

Here’s how it works:

As a Shared Living Home Provider, you and your family will share your life and your home, providing both care and support for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will partner with the individual being supported and assist with daily life activities including personal care (if needed), scheduling and organization, transportation, doctor visits and medications, and recreational activities.
